Lombardi's parents are from Italy. He married Sarah Engels, the runner-up of his season, on 1 March 2013. Their son Alessio was born in June 2015. In October 2016, the couple announced their divorce. Lombardi announced his relationship with Laura Rypa in September 2020. After they broke up in October 2020, they officially became a couple again in June 2022. Their first son together Leano was born in January 2023 and their second son Amelio was born in August 2024. The couple is engaged since October 2022.
